Candidate Forums

The LWVCA is committed to educating and enabling voters. We host non-partisan candidate forums prior to local elections, where constituents can ask questions and hear the candidates' views on policy issues in their area.

Our last round of candidate forums was held in October of 2009 for the City of Charleston, Town of Mt. Pleasant, and Isle of Palms.

Information on upcoming candidate forums will be posted on our website... and we hope to see you there!

Voters' Guides

During election season, the LWVCA questions candidates regarding their policy stances, and we publish their responses in our non-partisan Voters' Guides. They are a source of un-edited and comprehensive information for voters.

These guides will be made available on our website as soon as possible before elections.
