Donations for general support of the League should be made payable to the "League of Women Voters of the Charleston Area," or LWVCA. Due to the League's 501(c)(4) designation, these donations are not tax-deductible.
Donations to educational projects only should be made through the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that can receive and hold funds for LWVCA. These donations are fully tax-deductible where allowed by law. Checks made payable to the "League of Women Voters Education Fund" may be sent to:
