Wednesday, February 10, 2010	6:00-8:30pm	CofC - Health & Human Performance Bldg 86 Wentworth St 2nd Floor	LWVCA Board Meeting. Join the board for our monthly planning meeting from 6:30-8:30 on the second Wednesday of each month. We'll meet 30 minutes early for refreshments and social time.
Wednesday, February 17, 2010	11:30 am, 12:30 lunch	Sewee Visitor & Environmental Education Ctr 5821 Highway 17N, Awendaw	Membership Meeting at the Sewee Center. This month's LWVCA meeting will be a mid-day event with lunch, and we encourage you to attend and bring your friends. There will be a special presentation at the Sewee Center on "Climate Change and National Wildlife Refuges," with emphasis on refuges in the SC Lowcountry, followed by a no-host lunch for our group at the nearby SeeWee Restaurant. We'll have a carpool to Awendaw from the Whole Foods parking lot on Houston Northcutt Boulevard in Mt Pleasant. Tuesday, February 23, 2010	8:30 am	Columbia Marriott, 1200 Hampton St., Columbia	LWVSC Legislative Day. This year's program will be on Health and Environmental Impacts on Student Achievement. Speakers will begin after an 8:30 breakfast. After lunch, attendees will adjourn to Statehouse complex to meet with legislators and attend meetings. Advanced registration is $35 for the day; you may view the list of speakers, schedule, and find the registration form on LWVSC's website.

Sunday, March 14, 2010		Gaillard Auditorium 77 Calhoun St	KidsFair. The League will be at the KidsFair again this year, meeting future voters and helping their parents register to vote! This is an all day event, and we need League members to volunteer for shifts. If you'd like to help, please email Joan Dehne.
